I give full credit for this first part of "The Landlady" to Roald Dahl who wrote this story that inspired me to write on to it. (just skim through it if you're feeling lazy)

"The Landlady"Roald Dauhl
Billy Weaver had traveled down from London on the slow afternoon train, with a change at Reading on the way, and by the time he got to Bath, it was about nine o’clock in the evening, and the moon was coming up out of a clear starry sky over the houses opposite the station entrance. Bu
Your heart's too cold to know my pain, that I have swallowed fear for all these years. They all believed me when I said that I'm okay, but they didn't care enough to see my tears. You've learned my secrets, how to break me down. You've found my weak points so they all just turn around, and they're having fun tearing my heart to shreds now.
I am breakable today. And I can't seem to find the words to say that you are killing me inside. And now you're forcing me to run and hide. But you will never understand the words, the pain, the urgency to walk away and now I know that I can't make you understand. You will never understand.

When a heart breaks
It's splits
Not in half
But into a million pieces
And then it just goes numb
Everything you've ever loved
Seems to have disappeared
There's no need to eat, drink, or sleep
No need to need, bleed, or breath
No need to live
No need to die
No need to grieve
And no need to cry

It's no longer filled with possibilities
It becomes an endless nothing
There's no need to fulfill it.
There's nothing to fulfill.
There's nothing to do.
There's nothing to be.
There's nothing around you.
There's nothing for me.
It's so strange surrounded by the quiet
The peaceful poetry is surreal
It's a new world with the absence of the riot
The judgmental slurs of reality have disappeared
My world is only empty
My past is not my past
My memories are nothing
My future awaits at last
